About Megan

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA LMFT #113177) experienced in working with clients with eating disorders, OCD (including emetophobia), trauma, and various mood, anxiety, and personality disorders.

I began my career working with youth involved in the justice system, where I was able to connect with and provide support for underserved and marginalized populations. I then moved into a role of Primary Therapist at a day treatment eating disorder facility, Monte Nido Newport Beach, where for several years, I worked with clients presenting with a wide spectrum of eating disorders and comorbid conditions (especially OCD and trauma). I later served as Clinical Director there and oversaw all clinical operations at the facility, including providing clinical supervision and training for therapists.

In more recent years, I have focused solely on outpatient treatment, providing virtual individual therapy to clients throughout the state of California. I am deeply grateful to be spending my working hours doing what I love most: providing the space for clients to self-reflect, discover new learnings about themselves and the world around them, challenge their fears, and above all, feel fully witnessed by another human being.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy listening to music and attending concerts (I am a metalhead, which seems to surprise a lot of people), reading about history, birdwatching, and playing retro videogames with my husband.
